Inspired by Charles and Ray Eames with Zenith Plastics of California, the RSR Rocker is one of a group of chairs which were developed between 1950 and 1953. This beats the old wooden turned colonial rocking chair hands down, with its sleek curvaceous lines it is modern furniture design at its best. The iconic Eames wire base is set atop two maple or walnut runners for a smooth rocking motion that brings enjoyment to nurseries, lounges, living rooms, offices and bedrooms. Inspired by Eames, our version of the RSR Rocker features a deep seat pocket, integrated armrests, high backrest and waterfall seat edge for lounge-quality comfort. The original chair shells were available only in gray, gray green and beige; today, you can choose from many colours.

This moulded shell has a clear curve line, integrated a high backrest. The waterfall seat edge promotes comfortable seating for extended periods of time by reducing pressure on the backs of thighs. The iconic Eames wire base is set atop two maple or walnut runners for a smooth rocking motion that brings enjoyment to contract and residential settings. It has a reinforced fibreglass shell; chromed steel base; hard maple runners with clear lacquer finish.
